q: india, for anyone who doesn’t know you around here, how would you summarise who you are?

a: tricky to do in such few words - hahaha jokes. i’m india, I’m 25, from the beautiful Skegness in England and have been living in Australia for over three years now. my life always seems to be a bit hectic, and i love to tell (slightly dramatised) stories about that, so much so that i created a blog about it. besides writing, i love music, painting, ginger beer, hunting for new coffee shops, being in the ocean and crashing out over minor occurrences. 

q:⁠ ⁠you’ve shared a lot online through your blog and tiktok page - is there something you can share on catching z's that you haven’t said anywhere else?

a: i'm sure i know which stories you could be implying here ;) i've probably shared a little too much online already, but i have something that i'm writing at the moment that hasn’t been shared anywhere. it’s all about ‘is questioning whether you’re unloveable fundamental to the female experience?’ so we’ll see where that heads. 

q: we seem to share a lot of the same thoughts and experiences. is there anything you’ve experienced or thought about that you’ve wondered whether anyone else has too?

a: we do share the same brain tbh. but one thing that continues to bring me comfort is understanding that almost all human experience is shared, most of the thoughts and feelings i've had have also been felt by someone else out there, i'm not just crazy. that's why i love writing what i do: i centre it around personal experience but will often get responses from readers that feel the same way. sorry to evade the question!! but i feel as though i voice pretty much everything that comes into my head to someone (mainly you obvs). 

q: lastly, what keeps india up at night?

a: honestly what doesn’t keep me up at night? - my brain never stops. specifically, at the moment though, the constant impending doom of potentially not being able to stay in the country past september. that’s a big one.
